Experiencing a Calibrate & Train Session

Experiencing a Calibrate & Train Session

A simple 3 step approach

1) Assess
2) Calibrate
3) Follow up – optional drills and exercises

In a typical session we run through a system of checks for indicators of dysfunctional patterns:

-Symptoms check e.g. muscle tightness, aches and pains
-Loss of range of motion – looking for general loss of motion, and imbalances in movement range.
-Loss of quality in general or specific movement(s) and strength.
-Positional muscle contraction timing tests. Testing whether communication is working effectively to enable muscles to contact on demand.

  • Symptoms check e.g. muscle tightness, aches and pains
  • Loss of range of motion – looking for general loss of motion, and imbalances in movement range.
  • Loss of quality in general or specific movement(s) and strength.
  • Positional muscle contraction timing tests. Testing whether communication is working effectively to enable muscles to contact on demand.

Through a combination of specific calibration techniques, and optional exercises designed to provide the right stimulus, we update these dysfunctional patterns with the effect of:

  • Resolution of symptoms & improved ongoing wellbeing
  • Restored and improved range of motion.
  • Improved quality of motion and strength.
  • Restored communication for appropriate muscle contraction.

Your change in function becomes the new benchmark for further checks and balances, both at home and any follow up session. There are optional strategies to maintain function outlined to follow up at home.

How you use sessions is up to you.

  • Recover from injury
  • Develop sense of wellbeing
  • Speed up recovery and optimise function for physical performance.
